On May 27th, 2018, ACAMMA global experts roadshow was held in Dongguan. This event was co-hosted by the government of Dongcheng District and Dongguan University of Technology. The roadshow aimed at building connection between global experts from ACAMMA and industries and financial institutes in Dongcheng District, providing opportunities for collaboration and helping the global innovative projects to land in Dongcheng District.
During the event, the delegates of ACAMMA, Dongcheng District and Dongguan University of Technology have signed the MOU for collaboration. Three experts from ACAMMA demonstrated their projects to the representatives of the local research institutes, venture capitals and industries afterwards.
At the beginning of the event, Secretary of Party Committee of Dongcheng District, Mr. Deng Tao, delivered a speech about the innovation and Entrepreneurial Environment in Dongcheng. He also encouraged the research projects from various industries to land in Dongcheng District.
Deng said, with the resource advantages of ACAMMA, high-quality projects, advanced technologies, innovative teams and high-end industries could be introduced to Dongcheng District. Grasping this opportunity could lead to explosive growth in the area of the new equipment and advanced materials, boost modern industry systems and finally provide energy for the high-quality development in Dongcheng District.
After that, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Dongguan University of Technology introduced their research teams and innovative technology achievements during the recent years. He hoped to achieve cooperation and mutual benefits with Dongcheng District and ACAMMA.
Chairman of ACAMMA, Prof. Baohua Jia, introduced the objective of ACAMMA as well as of the roadshow. The roadshow happened after the introduction and three experts presented their projects separately, which included “AURORA”, “R4ROBOTICS”, endoscope related projects and so on. The local research institutes, venture capitals and industry representatives have expressed strong interests in the demonstrated projects, discussion continued even after the whole event ended.
