Australia New Energy and Intelligent Vehicle Competition (ANEIVC) – December 20 in Swinburne University of Technology (Hawthorn Campus) – has ended on a solid footing for more than 50 applicators from all over Australia.


Three teams - Aurora, R4robotics, Ultrabright Systems, have won the top prizes through the fierce competition among the eight finalists.


Representatives from the Victorian Government and Consul General of P.R. China in Melbourne, as well as the Pro Vice Chancellor of Swinburne have participated in the event. Also, there are many honored guests from academia, industries and investors have taken part and witnessed the wonderful night together with ACAMMA.


Dr. Xuewen Wang, CEO of ACAMMA has delivered a welcome speech at the start of the competition, he stated that Australia has spent huge amount of efforts in academic and research every year and gained a lot of excellent results in return. At the same time, China, as the fastest developing country in the world, is able to provide the most prosperous market for commercialization. The connection and co-development of Australia and China will spur the innovation and technology development in both countries.


The competition was divided into two parts, with 4 contestants in each part. The judge committee had a discussion after all the presentations and made a decision on the Top 3 finalists. The Top 3 teams were awarded with a free “Innovation Tour” to China. They will be invited to 5 cities in China and visit the “science, technology and industry park” and meet the Chinese investors face to face with all the travelling and accommodation fees covered.


It was a great opportunity for the entrepreneurs to meet and compete in such a platform, they could learn and even cooperate with from each other. ANEIVC will also bring the collaboration and networking in the areas of the talents communicating, resource sharing and technology commercialization.
